The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies into the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency claimed it is alarmed in regards to the substantial quantity of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a higher range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally sassa functional office committed to service the area regularly. The support stage developed for intervention experiences a superior influx of likely beneficiaries, which makes it challenging for that office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more resources to sassa allow the servicing of all prospects and boost usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
